I like what you said: "Like Mary, Jes...Holly,
I like what you said: "Like Mary, Jesus calls each of us by name and it is an amazing feeling." I hadn't really thought of that angle. That could make for a great sermon subject.

This whole chapter is so beautiful and mysterious. To me, this is why trying to compare faith and science are like trying to compare an apple to a rock. They are two completely different things. People try to discredit these events or explain them scientifically. When we try to do that, we become like Thomas. I get caught up in this sometimes. But, when I am faithful and listening to my heart rather than my head, I believe the mystery of it all and it has so much more meaning.Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06596653591301276543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4364617788458228849.post-31165437346391696102012-01-28T04:29:43.195-08:002012-01-28T04:29:43.195-08:00Doesn't it just make you want to get up and da...Doesn't it just make you want to get up and dance? =) I love the excitement and Peter and John, the earnestness of the women.

This time as I was reading I was hit again by Thomas. He was one of the twelve, so one of the first believers. But we remember him as the doubter. Makes me think about what one event, one reaction would define me for centuries . . .Roseanna Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02245767775900250399noreply@blogger.com
