No particular verse jumps out at me but the theme of this Psalm, reminds me that riches really doesn't matter in light of eternity.
My Bible 360 is not reading the entire Bible in a year but for an entire year reading the Bible.

Psalm 47
1 Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy! 2 For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth.
Psalm 48
1 Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised in the city of our God! His holy mountain,
This week one of the Kindle books that was featured by one of my favorite bloggers and it was a book on prayer called Pray the Scriptures Bible Psalms and Proverbs. It takes a section of the Psalm and rewrites it in more of a prayer. Here is Psalm 48:
You're great and you deserve the highest praise. You dwell among your people on your holy mountain. Your presence graces your palace. Kings march against you only to flee in fear when they see your dwelling. They tremble like women in labor. I'd only heard of your power, but now I've seen it with my own eyes. As I come near you I'll reflect on your mercy. Praise for you reaches to the ends of the earth. I'm glad because of your wise judgments. I'll tell everyone who comes after me that you are God forever and ever. You'll guide us to death and beyond.

Day 102, April 12 - Luke 18

1
And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.
2
He said, "In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man.
3
And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, 'Give me justice against my adversary.'
4
For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, 'Though I neither fear God nor respect man,
5
yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.'"
6
And the Lord said, "Hear what the unrighteous judge says.
7
And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them?
8
I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?"
Don't give up!

5 The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"
6 And the Lord said, "If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
Mark 9:23-24
23 And Jesus said to him, "'If you can'! All things are possible for one who believes."
24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, "I believe; help my unbelief!

This is a tough chapter for me to understand. The story of the rich man and Lazarus is the least confusing. It is a reminder that we really can't look for the dead to come back and warn us. We have God's Word to teach us and guide us.

7 Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
10 Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
32 It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.'"

12He said also to the man who had invited him, When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. 13But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, 14and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.
I think this means a lot to me because my pastor has been speaking a lot about evangelism and the importance of reaching out to those around us.
Be blessed!
