Day 347, December 13 - Revelation 11

17 24 Elders: We give You thanks, Lord God, the All Powerful,
                 who is and who was.
For You have wielded Your great power
                 and have begun Your reign.
18 The nations have raged against You,
but Your wrath has finally come.
It is now time to judge all of the dead,

To give a just reward to Your servants, the prophets,
and to the saints and all who honor Your name,
both the small and the great,
And to destroy those who cause destruction to the earth.

This passage talks about the two witnesses after reading a few fiction books about this passage it actually makes a little more sense...

  1. Revelation 11
15-18 When the seventh angel blew his trumpet, there were loud voices in heaven, saying,
“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will rule as king forever and ever.”
Then the 24 leaders, who were sitting on their thrones in God’s presence, immediately bowed, worshiped God, and said,
“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun ruling as king.
“The nations were angry, but your anger has come. The time has come for the dead to be judged: to reward your servants, the prophets, your holy people, and those who fear your name, no matter if they are important or unimportant, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”
