Nov 20, Day 323 - Psalm 150

Click here to go to Psalm 150

Before we start The Revelation I wanted to read one of my favorite Psalms.

Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heaven!
Praise him for his mighty works;
    praise his unequaled greatness!
Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn;
    praise him with the lyre and harp!
Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
    praise him with strings and flutes!
Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
    praise him with loud clanging cymbals.
Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!
Praise the Lord!

One of my favorite bands has always been Petra. This Psalm makes me think of this Petra song and the proclamation "Let Everything that Has Breath PRAISE THE LORD!!!"

  1. A great, uplifting Psalm, indeed. :-)

  2. Psalm 150
    1 Hallelujah! Praise God in his holy place. Praise him in his mighty heavens. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts. Praise him for his immense greatness.
    3 Praise him with sounds from horns. Praise him with harps and lyres.
    4 Praise him with tambourines and dancing. Praise him with stringed instruments and flutes.
    5 Praise him with loud cymbals. Praise him with crashing cymbals.
    6 Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! Hallelujah!

    Psalm 100
    1 Shout happily to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Serve the Lord cheerfully. Come into his presence with a joyful song.
    3 Realize that the Lord alone is God. He made us, and we are his. We are his people and the sheep in his care.
    4 Enter his gates with a song of thanksgiving. Come into his courtyards with a song of praise. Give thanks to him; praise his name.
    5 The Lord is good. His mercy endures forever. His faithfulness endures throughout every generation. A psalm by David.
