  1. Revelation 22
1-5 The angel showed me a river filled with the water of life, as clear as crystal. It was flowing from the throne of God and the lamb. Between the street of the city and the river there was a tree of life visible from both sides. It produced 12 kinds of fruit. Each month had its own fruit. The leaves of the tree will heal the nations. There will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and the lamb will be in the city. His servants will worship him and see his face. His name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night, and they will not need any light from lamps or the sun because the Lord God will shine on them. They will rule as kings forever and ever.

I love about the 12 fruits ~ one for each month.
Twelve months ~ one year. This is so awesome. God's Word is true and announces what science "discovers."

16-17 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give this testimony to you for the churches. I am the root and descendant of David. I am the bright morning star.”
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let those who hear this say, “Come!” Let those who are thirsty come! Let those who want the water of life take it as a gift.

20-21 The one who is testifying to these things says, “Yes, I’m coming soon!”Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
The good will of the Lord Jesus be with all of you. Amen!

    Psalm 119:111 is my favorite.
111 Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
and 10, With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

I will love reading Psalm 119 together. I will be unable to post 12/19-26, but will be back and catch up! Thank you for this year of a-chapter-a-day together! Kathleen ~ Lane Hill House

Oh, and I have great news to share! Our calls had not been received to see our granddaughter since our son died the first week of June 2011. My husband left a message the night before last and got a call back re weekend before Christmas:

"I am working all day Friday, but come and spend the night and Saturday during the day."

The Lord is so good and this would not have happened without Him!

    1. She will be so excited. She is nine. I have sent newsy cards and return stamped envelope with stationery inside for her. She wrote in the first one, "I want to see you again." In the next one I wrote we were going to her aunt's for Christmas (three hours from them). So thankful to the Lord.
