December 14, Psalm 119:9-16

Click here to go to Psalm 119:9-16

In the second section we are asked the question of how we can stay pure. The answer follows:
By obeying God's Word.

Again the focus is the Word of the God.

This was probably one of the first verses I was taught as a child:
I have hidden your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you. (12)

  1. Psalm 119:9-16
10-11 I wholeheartedly searched for you. Do not let me wander away from your commandments. I have treasured your promise in my heart so that I may not sin against you.

13-14 With my lips I have repeated every regulation that comes from your mouth. I find joy in the way shown by your written instructions more than I find joy in all kinds of riches.

    Psalm 34:1-4
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
