Another amazing chapter with lots of good stuff in it, the thing that is jumping out at me today:
12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
Colossians 3
ReplyDelete9b-10a You’ve gotten rid of the person you used to be and the life you used to live, and you’ve become a new person.
16 Let Christ’s word with all its wisdom and richness live in you. Use psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to teach and instruct yourselves about God’s kindness. Sing to God in your hearts.
This reminds me of a visiting pastor who said singing what you want to memorize will make it easier to remember.
