Sept. 16, Day 260 - Psalm 135

Click here to go to Psalm 135

This is a beautiful Psalm. It starts out with a command to praise the Lord. Then the Psalmist gives testimony to the great things that God had done. Then he moves to directing his comments personally to the God. He denounces all other Gods and finishes instructing others to praise the Lord.

A good reminder of how we should live.

Happy Sunday!

  1. Psalm 135
Reminds me so much of Psalm 100 ~ puts me to song!

    1-3
Hallelujah! Praise the name of the Lord. Praise him, you servants of the Lord who are standing in the house of the Lord, in the courtyards of the house of our God. Praise the Lord because he is good. Make music to praise his name because his name is beautiful.

    Psalm 100
A psalm of thanksgiving. Shout happily to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord cheerfully. Come into his presence with a joyful song. Realize that the Lord alone is God. He made us, and we are his. We are his people and the sheep in his care. Enter his gates with a song of thanksgiving. Come into his courtyards with a song of praise. Give thanks to him; praise his name. The Lord is good. His mercy endures forever. His faithfulness endures throughout every generation.
