Verses 24 and 25 jumped out at me. It's so true!
Don’t befriend angry people
or associate with hot-tempered people,
25 or you will learn to be like them
and endanger your soul.

16 A person who gets ahead by oppressing the poor

Proverbs 22:28
ReplyDeleteDo not move an ancient boundary marker
that your ancestors set in place.
This refers to land boundaries, not to rob someone. But this applies as well:
Jeremiah 6:16
This is what the LORD says:
Stand at the crossroads and look.
Ask which paths are the old, reliable paths.
Ask which way leads to blessings.
Live that way, and find a resting place for yourselves.
But you said that you wouldn't live that way.
God's Word stands for all generations. His Word is true. It does not change. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Bless His Holy Name.
