Oh the power of the tongue! I love how James compares it to a bridle on a horse and the rudder of a ship. These small items control the big and how our tongues control us. It's also interesting (and maybe a little discouraging) that James says the tongue can not be tamed. At least Jesus said with God all things are possible (including the taming the tongue!)
