There's a lot of things in this chapter that don't make sense, so I'm going to focus on what does:
26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord.
28 Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
29 For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.
1 Corinthians 11
ReplyDelete8-9 Clearly, man wasn’t made from woman but woman from man. Man wasn’t created for woman but woman for man.
11-12 Yet, as believers in the Lord, women couldn’t exist without men and men couldn’t exist without women. As a woman came into existence from a man, so men come into existence by women, but everything comes from God.
19 Factions have to exist in order to make it clear who the genuine believers among you are.
