Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy. (1)
Definition of Prophesy Verb
- Say that (a specified thing) will happen in the future: "Jacques was prophesying a bumper harvest".
- Speak or write by divine inspiration; act as a prophet: "when a man prophesies, it is because the Spirit of the Lord comes upon him".
I like the fact that the first focus is on love and the pursuit of it.
1 Corinthians 14:
