May 19, Day 140 - Proverbs 12

Click here to read Proverbs 12

This is another chapter that compares the consequences of evil versus the life of the good.

I think the verse that jumps out at me the most is verse 16:
A fool is quick-tempered,
    but a wise person stays calm when insulted.

I tend to be a little too quick tempered for my own good.

The last verse is also really good:
The way of the godly leads to life;
    that path does not lead to death.

That's the path I want to be on!

  1. 25 Worry weighs a person down;
    an encouraging word cheers a person up.

    That one jumped out at me being that I am the last of the all-time worry-warts.

  2. Proverbs 12
    4 A wife with strength of character is the crown of her husband, but the wife who disgraces him is like bone cancer.

    Today is our 28th wedding anniversary.

    15 A stubborn fool considers his own way the right one, but a person who listens to advice is wise.

    I have finally become a listener!!

    My husband is a jewel.
