This chapter is perfect for me today. Yesterday, I got a call and learned that Susie, one of my best friends since high school took an overdose of pills and tried to commit suicide. She is in the hospital in ICU and may or may not live. If she does live, there is no telling what kind of brain damage she has. I am very distraught right now and this would be a lot worse if I didn't have the comfort of God to help me through. I know that Susie is sheltered by the love of God right now. And, I just pray, if it is His will, that she recovers completely.
