On the Biblegateway website the heading for this chapter is: "The Danger of Criticism" Paul tackles the subject of food and "holy" days. I love what he says here, but the thing that really jumped out at me was verse 8: If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. The ultimate win/win!
I also really like the reminder about not tearing each other down.

ReplyDelete17 God’s kingdom does not consist of what a person eats or drinks. Rather, God’s kingdom consists of God’s approval and peace, as well as the joy that the Holy Spirit gives.
