June 3, Day 155 - Proverbs 14

I love how the writer of this chapter as it contrast a life that follows God and a life that doesn't.  The verse that jumped out to me tonight is verse 12:
There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.
One of the reason is because it reminds me of one my favorite Petra songs, God Pleasure... The songs that Petra performed especially in the 80s were filled with Bible passages.  Enjoy this classic Petra song...

  1. Proverbs 14
4 Where there are no cattle, the feeding trough is empty, but the strength of an ox produces plentiful harvests.

    Proverbs 13
12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

    Psalm 28:7 CJB
    Complete Jewish Bible
ADONAI is my strength and shield; in him my heart trusted, and I have been helped. Therefore my heart is filled with joy, and I will sing praises to him.

    Psalm 73:26
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Forever on my mind and heart.

  2. This was a good chapter.

Thank you all for your prayers for my friend Susie. She passed away in the middle of the night. I know that she is with Jesus and she is now free from all of her pain. I'll miss her a lot.
