Day 56 - Matthew 25

Click here to go to Matthew 25:1

The Kingdom of Heaven is like...
Chapter 25 is another rich chapter, I'm not sure whether the Parable of the Three Servants or The Final Judgement is my favorite. They both have potent lessons to be learned, lessons that come with promise when we walk in the truth God wants us.

What is speaking to you today?

  1. Matthew 25

6 “At midnight someone shouted, ‘The groom is here! Come to meet him!’"

Do we miss Him when He talks to us and we tune Him out?

10 “While they were buying oil, the groom arrived. The bridesmaids who were ready went with him into the wedding hall, and the door was shut."

Are we listening? Do we hear His Voice? They left when they knew He was there.
Time to go is not time to get ready!

23 "...'Good job! You’re a good and faithful servant! You proved that you could be trusted with a small amount.'..."

Are we using the talents and abilities we have been given? Are we aware of what they are? Have we tried them out? On Sunday afternoon, our church was scheduled at our local nursing home. I was asked to come up and help lead worship with our pastor. I did. I was not afraid because the Lord prepared me to sing for Him. (Also, our pastor sounds like “Roy Rogers” when he sings!)

31,32 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory and all his angels are with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. The people of every nation will be gathered in front of him. He will separate them as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats."

What a sight that will be!!
The sheep follow, the goats have to be led. A word to the wise!
