March 31, Day 91 - Psalm 27

Click here to go to Psalm 27

Tonight I went to a viewing and visitation for a dear friend who went home to be with the Lord last Sunday.  So as I read this Psalm I was so encouraged and so blessed by it. Especially verse 4:

The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.
My friend Ray, is doing that in a very real way.

I also love the way the Psalmist, believed David, ends this Psalm:
Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
Be encouraged if you are waiting for God to answer a prayer. Be brave, be courageous, and wait.

  1. Psalm 27
13,14 I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

6 I will sing and make music to praise the Lord.

How I love worship!! To come into His holy place. The Lord inhabits the praises of His people. Psalm 22:3

    You are beautiful beyond description

  2. Love this psalm! The Lord is our Light--whom shall we fear? This is one to cling to always, one that shows us that the Lord sustains and blesses, no matter what enemies may clamor around us.
