March 18, Day 78 - Psalm 25

Click here to go to Psalm 25

This is a special Psalm to me as it got me through a difficult time early in my ministry time.  It was a source of hope that God would take care of those who were saying evil things about me. And it took almost a year, but God  showed Himself faithful and I grew.

I love verse 5 from The Voice:
Ease me down the path of your truth.
Feed me Your word
because You are the True God who has saved me.
I wait all day long, hoping, trusting in You.

Then verse 14:
Only those who stand in awe of the Eternal One will have intimacy with Him, and He will reveal His covenant to them.

I looked up on dictionary.com a definition of awe here's what they had to say:
an overwhelming feeling of reverence, admiration, fear, etc., produced by that which is grand, sublime, extremelypowerful, or the like

That which is grand. To say the least our God is Great.  Enjoy this Chris Tomlin song, How Great is Our God

    Psalm 25
    4 Show me the right path, O Lord;
point out the road for me to follow.
5 Lead me by your truth and teach me,
for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my hope in you.
6 Remember, O Lord, your compassion and unfailing love,
which you have shown from long ages past.

This is a beautiful Psalm of God's righteousness and care for us! He is our Defender, our Right-Arm, our Teacher. He is our All in All forever as we follow Him and seek Him in every area of our life.
