One of many favorite chapters.
I need to remember to make sure God hears my voice in the morning. So often it's a struggle for me to get out of bed.  (I'm not a morning person) but this chapter reminds me it's important to spend some time with the Lord first thing in the morning to set the stage for my day.

  1. Psalm 5
3 In the morning, O Lord, hear my voice. In the morning I lay my needs in front of you, and I wait.

    Psalm 53:2
God looks down from heaven on Adam's descendants to see if there is anyone who acts wisely, if there is anyone who seeks help from God.

    Psalm 5
11-12 But let all who take refuge in you rejoice. Let them sing with joy forever. Protect them, and let those who love your name triumph in you. You bless righteous people, O Lord. Like a large shield, you surround them with your favor.

    Psalm 6
4 Turn, O LORD, deliver my life; save me for the sake of your steadfast love.

    Psalm 36:5
O LORD, your mercy reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.
