Psalm 10 points out the evil in the world and how it does seem to prosper for a time at least, but I love verse 16 - The Lord is King forever and ever, the nations perish from his land.
No matter what, God is King and that's not going to change.
Psalm 11 is a little more upbeat but not much, but again the Psalmist gives us hope - For the Lord is righteous; he loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold his face.
Psalm 10
ReplyDelete2 The wicked person arrogantly pursues oppressed people. He will be caught in the schemes that he planned.
Psalm 9:9
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble.
Psalm 11
1a I have taken refuge in the Lord.
Psalm 11:1 The Voice Translation
1 I am already in the soft embrace of the Eternal,
so why do you beckon me to leave, saying,
“Fly like a bird to the mountains."
